This 90,000 square foot strip mall located in South Florida includes about 15 different tenant spaces right off the highway. Some larger storefronts than others remain vacant from the mall’s outdated look. Our approach achieves a new look & solution to some of the drainage issues from the strong rain & wind conditions. The outdated parapets & poor water-proofing were the cause of roof leaks & other issues. One advantage we see is the potential street life for the outdoor covered corridor, connecting shoppers to different type of stores while protecting them from the strong climate.
