TMR was one of six finalists in this national design competition. Both site strategy & pedestrian circulation play an important role in this memorial. The memorial is composed of a curved concrete wall, intersected by 2 glass panels. This wall draws the public in from the boardwalk as it tapers up towards the sky. Displayed on the wall are 800+ NJ veterans that gave their lives for us. The glass panels houses a kiosk with an information center. The outside of the glass panels will be etched with articles from NJ papers depicting significant events of the war.
