This proposal for the Meadowland’s Racetrack (located next to Giant’s Stadium) analyzed the existing structure and systems to update the quality of the space. In this design, existing floors were punctured to allow additional natural light to the lower levels, while secluding spaces that required less light, such as betting areas. This was part of our master plan redevelopment for this area, which also included a proposed twelve story hotel, time share condominiums with ground floor retail, and a large promenade and park connecting the arenas, including the Izod Center.
